A new addition to the SCSY hotel partnerships family, Hotel Duncan is a smaller and cozier option that takes pride in its historic design. In a former 19th-century boarding house, this storied hotel is a 6-minute walk from Yale University and particularly close to Linsly-Chittenden Hall (LC), where many committee sessions for the conference are held. The hotel is also very close to New Haven's restaurant and bar-dazzled Chapel Street.

To reserve, (after July 1, 2016) email Hotel Duncan at HotelDuncanNewHaven@Gmail.com or (after August 1, 2016), call them at 203-787-1273. Mention "Yale SCSY Seminar" to get the reduced rate.

AIRBNB?

If finances are a challenge, we encourage delegations to consider Airbnb. The conference happens on the main Yale campus: landmarks include Phelps Gate (344 College St), Linsly Chittenden Hall (LC, 63 High St) and William H Harkness Hall (WLH, 100 Wall St) so finding living spaces near the landmarks will reduce transport hassles.

Committee sessions do not start very early so it is also possible to commute to the campus from a downtown location using the Yale or local shuttle.
